UFC lightweight contender Roger "El Matador" Huerta has officially confirmed a contract renewal with the UFC. According to the 155-pound Mexican-American fighter, he recently signed a 5-fight deal and is set to step back into the cage sometime in March of 2009.
Huerta has won 6 of his last 7 fights, losing his last match to Kenny "Kenflo" Florian back in August of 2008 at UFC 87: ‘Seek and Destroy’. His overall MMA record stands at 20 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw. Expect fireworks once he returns!
