Randy “The Natural” Couture is not only a winner…he is the Heavyweight Champion of the UFC. He beat Tim Sylvia for the belt and now for the first time ever, he defends his title by beating the Brazilian Gabriel Gonzaga.
Randy admits that Gabriel did land a good deal of hits, but it just wasn’t enough to take out the professional Greco-Roman wrestler.
So who’s next for Randy Couture? UFC rumors talk about Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira as his next opponent. Big Nog would probably be a very exciting match-up for Randy as they both posses fantastic grappling skills.
Will it be too soon for Big Nog to have a title match? It’s all in the hands of Dana White, but Dana believes that this could be next fight for Randy and it would definitely bring about more PPV sales.
