Rampage Jackson: “I’m Going To Come Back To The UFC And Finish My Contract”

The former UFC light heavyweight champion and TUF 10 coach Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson decided to retire from the UFC after some drama unfolded with UFC President Dana White.  Rampage was scheduled to face Rashad Evans as part of the UFC 107 main event, but Rampage asked to postpone the bout because he was called in to shoot the remake film of the  ‘A-team’ where he would star as his childhood super hero B.A. Baracus (the role originated by Mr. T).  White wasn’t too happy with the idea and said a few things to the media, which immediately aggravated Rampage.

Rampage recently wrote on his official website that he would be returning to the Octagon, but only because he wants to complete his fight contract and silence the mouths of Rashad Evans and Dana White for all of the unnecessary trash talking.

From Rampage Jackson:

“I wanted to let my fans know that I’m going to come back to the UFC and finish my contract…Not because the haters are talking shit about me being scared of Rashad (Evans) or [Ultimate Fighter contestant Darrill Schoonover] or anybody else. I’m coming back for my fans and to shut Rashad’s mouth up & shut Dana’s (White) mouth up. Then after that I’m going back to doing movies & I might do a boxing match once a year just to stay in shape. Hate on dis!”
