The WEC has officially released the payouts and bonuses for all of the fighters that participated in the ‘Miguel Torres vs. Manny Tapia’ event that was held this past Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008.
Bonuses:
- "Knockout of the Night"– $7,500 USD was awarded to Bart Palaszewski for knocking out Alex Karalexis via TKO at 1:11 in the 2nd round.
- "Submission of the Night"– $7,500 USD was given to Brian Bowles for defeating Will Ribeiro via a guillotine choke submission at 1:11 in the 3rd round.
- "Fight of the Night"– Cub Swanson and Hiroyuki Takaya were each given $7,500 USD for their performance. Cub Swanson ended up taking home the unanimous decision win after 3 rounds.
