MMA fighter Ross Clifton (6-10-0) was reportedly found dead by his wife on the morning of September 5th, 2009. Clifton apparently died from a heart attack at the age of 32.
Clifton will be remembered as the “jovial teddy bear in the body of a grizzly” according to his trainer Cal Worsham. He began his MMA professional career back in September of 2001 and his last fight was back in July of 2009 where he lost to Rick Vardell via TKO (strikes) . His most notabale fight was against Ken Shamrock back in February of 2009 at ‘The Valentine’s Massacre’ event. Clifton lost to Shamrock via TKO (strikes) in the first round.
