Although Matt Hughes defeated Matt Serra via a unanimous decision this past Saturday night at UFC 98, he is still not sure whether it is the right time for him to retire. The thought of retirement has been on his mind, but it seems like his heart still wants him to stay. The official decision is still on hold until he talks to his buddy Dana White, the president of the UFC.
Here’s a snip from Hughes himself:
“I don’t know what I’m going to do. DW (Dana White) and I will get in a room and talk about it. We’ll figure it out. I definitely still want to compete. I still think I’m competitive in the weight division.”
