Lyoto Machida Responds To Tito Ortiz Statements: “I Hope to, Obviously, Knock Him Out, Or Even Submit Him” (UFC 84)

Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida  answers back to all of the Tito Ortiz
statements.  His fight with Tito is scheduled to take place this upcoming
Saturday night, May 24th at Nevada’s
MGM Grand Garden Arena.  UFC 84: Ill
Will will headline the lightweight title bout between BJ Penn and Sean Sherk.
Also on the fight card is the return of Wanderlei Silva
as he takes on Keith
Jardine.

Machida feels
that everyone can pretty much talk all they want, but it can only be decided
once both men enter the cage.  Then again, who can ever catch up with
Tito’s trash talk?  The young Brazilian is usually very quiet prior to his
fights, yet effective once its game time.  Machida’s main background is Karate, but he
has been able to integrate impressive Jiu-Jitsu ground skills as well.

The fight between both of these MMA veterans will be a must-see bout for all
MMA fans.  Machida continues to be undefeated with 12 wins, 0 losses to his record.  He’ll
look to add on a 13th win this upcoming weekend, which can take him closer to
the title.  However, he’ll first have to be able to surpass the very
confident Tito Ortiz.

Here’s a snip from The Dragon:

"I want to win at stand up and I hope to,
obviously, knock him out, or even submit him. I came from carate, but I am at
the MMA and I am prepared for any situation… I think he can talk what he want,
but nothing shakes me. Like other people talk much before the fight, I think
this It will be only decided on May 24th. Before that, he can talk what he
want. ‘He will do this, he will do that, I am the best’, but I am confident in
my game, in my training and I believe a lot in myself"
