KJ Noons will be looking forward to avenge his loss against Charles ‘Krazy Horse’ Bennett as part of the Strikeforce main card on June 26. Both fighters first squared up in the former EliteXC promotion back in February of 2007. Bennett won their first match-up, knocking Noons out late in the first round. The loss is one of only two losses on Noons’ mixed martial arts record.
Noons is coming off a four-fight winning streak, meanwhile Bennett has gone 4-3 and is coming off a KO loss to Bobby Green in December of 2009. Bennett was scheduled to fight for Shine Fights 3 last weekend, but that show was canceled. However, this rematch bout seems much more interesting for all MMA fight fans.
The June 26 Strikeforce fight card will headline a heavyweight fight between Russian Sambo expert Fedor Emelianenko taking on black belt BJJ/Judo fighter Fabricio Werdum. Also on the card is Cris ‘Cyborg’ Santos taking on Jan Finney.
