Kimbo Slice vs Matt Mitrione Likely For UFC 113 In Montreal

A potential heavyweight match-up between TUF season 10 fighters Kimbo Slice and Matt Mitrione will most likely take place at the upcoming UFC 113 event in Montreal.  Both fighters have verbally agreed on the bout, but nothing has been officially confirmed just yet.

In Kimbo’s UFC debut, he defeated ‘The Assassin’ Houston Alexander via a unanimous decision at 215-pound catchweight of 215 pounds.  If Slice does indeed ink the deal to fight Mitrione, the bout will be as a heavyweight since he felt that cutting weight affected his performance in his fight against Houston.

UFC 113 will headline a light heavyweight title fight between current champion Lyoto ‘The Dragon’ Machida and Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua.  The event has been rumored to possibly change its May 1 date if Floyd Mayweather agrees to fight Shane Mosley.  Dana White would prefer to push its date after May 1st in order to prevent PPV competition.
