HDNet made a special announcement last night on the television program Inside MMA.  Mark Cuban’s mixed martial arts TV network, HDNet Fights, has partnered up with Japan’s DREAM organization in a goal to broadcast all of the DREAM events in North America.

DREAM made their debut on March 15th at the Saitama Super Arena for the first round’s Lightweight Grand Prix.  HDNet will start off by airing this first event and thereafter, the official DREAM 2 event will be aired on April 29th from Saitama, Japan.

The DREAM 2 event will be the first round of the Middleweight Grand Prix-2008 tournament and will feature top MMA fighters such as Kazushi Sakuraba, Denis Kang, Ikuhisa Minowa, Zelg Galesic and many more.  The main event of the evening is headlined to be the unfinished lightweight rematch bout between Shinya Aoki and JZ Calvancanti.
