Fighter Salaries and Bonuses For UFC 96: Rampage Earns Highest Purse

The fighter salaries and bonuses for the UFC 96 ‘Jackson vs. Jardine’ event were released by the Ohio Athletic Commission this week. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson earned the highest purse of the night, acquiring $325,000 USD which includes a $60,000 USD bonus for being a part of the “Fight of the Night.” The total disclosed payroll for the event that took place in Columbus, Ohio was $762,000 USD.

MAIN CARD FIGHTER SALARIES:

  • Quinton “Rampage” Jackson $325,000 (includes win bonus of $100,000) defeated Keith Jardine $55,000 (win bonus would have been $55,000)

***Jackson and Jardine also each earned $60,000 for “Fight of the Night”

  • Shane Carwin $32,000 (includes win bonus of $16,000) defeated Gabriel Gonzaga $60,000 (win bonus would have been $60,000)
  • Matt Brown $16,000 (includes win bonus of $8,000) defeated Pete Sell $12,000 (win bonus would have been $12,000)
  • Matt Hamill $40,000 (includes win bonus of $20,000) defeated Mark Munoz $12,000 (win bonus would have been $12,000)
