Ken Shamrock has apparently suffered an injury only a few hours ago and was forced to possibly cancel his fight with Kimbo Slice. The much anticipated main event may now be scratched off. EliteXC officials are currently searching for a replacement so that Kimbo is still able to take part of the EliteXC: "Heat" event in case Shamrock is not cleared by doctors.
Doctors are currently with Ken Shamrock in a goal to clear him for the fight tonight.
Sources close to us indicate a possible bout with Seth Petruzelli if Shamrock needs to be replaced. The native from Cape Coral, Florida currently holds an MMA record of 10-5-0 and is coming off a win over Sean Sallee via a TKO in the first round over at the Knight Fight organization.
