David Loiseau Denied License To Fight, Jason MacDonald Fills In To Face John Salter At UFC 113

The Quebec Athletic Commission denied David ‘The Crow’ Loiseau’s license to fight on the upcoming UFC 113 fight card.  No specific reasons was released as to why he was denied his license.  Instead, Canadian fighter Jason MacDonald will fill in for Loiseau and take on John Salter at UFC 113.

UFC 113 is scheduled to take place on May 8th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  The main event will headline a rematch title fight between current light heavyweight champion Lyoto ‘The Dragon’ Machida taking on no. 1 contender Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua.  The co-main event will feature a welterweight clash between Josh Koscheck and Paul Daley.

The Quebec fighter Loiseau did not explain why he was denied, but he did seem very upset about it:

“10 years of my life to the sport of MMA. Opened doors for Quebec fighters, put Quebec on the map, helped built the sport in Quebec. Now the Quebec commission wont let me fight… UNACCEPTABLE.”
