Countdown To UFC 86 Airing Midnight Tonight On Spike TV (June 30)

The UFC 86: Jackson vs. Griffin event is scheduled to take place this upcoming Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Nevada.  The U.S. post-independence day celebration kicks off on July 5th starting at 10pm ET.

The main event will feature Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as he will look to defend his light heavyweight belt against the Ultimate Fighter: Season 1 winner, Forrest Griffin.  Each of these men were recently given the opportunity to coach a team of fighters in this season’s Ultimate Fighter 7.  Now, both coaches will finally be squaring off this Saturday night to decide who will truly be the best light heavyweight fighter in the UFC.

Tonight will be the first night of the UFC 86 countdown special presentation (from ufc.com):
