Condit Wants Rematch Against Kampmann If St Pierre Is Not Ready

UFC interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit plans to unify the titles as he is scheduled to fight Georges St Pierre sometime in November 2012.  Due to St Pierre’s long recovery, if the bout does not occur, Condit would be eager to face Martin Kampann in a goal to avenge his only loss in the last 6 years.  It would be an interesting bout for all MMA fans, especially with Kampmann winning his last 3 consecutive bouts and and is always close to a title shot.

From Carlos Condit:

“If it turns out Georges [St Pierre] can’t fight in November, most likely, I will fight somebody else. I really wanna fight Georges. I really wanna unify the belts, but there’s also some other guys that I would like to fight as well. You know, Martin Kampmann’s the only guy that I’ve lost to in the UFC, the only guy I’ve lost to in about the last six years, so I would definitely like to avenge that loss.”
