Chuck ‘Iceman’ Liddell Still Unsure About UFC Retirement

The talk on Chuck “Iceman” Liddell’s retirement has been “blown out of proportion” according to the former UFC light heavyweight champion.  Dana White wants him to retire while his trainer John Hackleman prefers that the Iceman should be the one to decide what is best for his career.  Hackleman and White have never really liked each other, but both of them have kept it quiet out of respect for Liddell.  Now, it’s all up to the Iceman to decide whether or not it’s really time to call it quits.

Snip from Dana White:

“[Chuck Liddell] is past his prime, doesn’t need the money, and there is no purpose in risking permanent injuries.”

Snip from Chuck Liddell:

“It’s like if you’re a kid and your parents don’t get along. They both called me up and talked to me, and they both love me and have my best interests at heart. I love both guys, and I’m not going to take sides. They’ve never liked each other. But they’ve always kept it quiet out of respect for me. Now that it’s going back and forth, it’s been blown way out of proportion.”
