Former UFC champions Chuck ‘The Iceman’ Liddell and Tito ‘The Huntington Beach Bad Boy’ Ortiz were selected as the next coaches for season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter. The debut is set for March 31st, 2010.
From UFC President Dana White:
“Obviously my good friend Chuck Liddell has been terrorizing me to come back and fight again…And I think the fans want to see him compete, so obviously Chuck Liddell will be one of the coaches and the opposing coach will be Tito Ortiz…At the end of the day, I am not his dad…The guy is a legend on the sport; he’s the beat the who’s who of the sport of mixed martial arts — here and in the PRIDE organization. So to tell him that he can’t have one more shot; It’s tough to do.”
