UFC heavyweight Cain Velasquez is prepared to exchange strikes with the heavy handed Ben Rothwell this upcoming Saturday night. Velasquez seems pretty much comfortable with his game plan coming into this fight as he plans to control Rothwell standing up and during takedowns. Will Velasquez be able to manhandle Rothwell just like he did with Cheick Kongo at UFC 99 in early June this year? We’ll find out this weekend as Velasquez and Rothwell go toe to toe as part of the UFC 104 co-main event.
From Cain Velasquez:
“He’s a normal person, just like me. Whatever he’s willing to do to me, you know, I’m willing to do the same to him. [I plan on] controlling him on the feet, making openings, taking him down. Just beating him up real bad, and picking my shots and really exploding on him; Letting him know that there is nothing that he can do to me.”
