Anthony Torres Tests Positive for Steroids

Anthony Torres, who lost to Jess Liaudin via TKO-Strikes in the first round at UFC 75-Champion vs. Champion in England was tested positive for Boldenone.

Boldenone is an anabolic steroid developed for veterinary use and is mostly applied on horses and not humans. It has a very long half-life and can show up on a steroid test for up to 5 months. It is often used by bodybuilders because it helps in adding strength and size.

UFC vice president Marc Ratner stated that Torres was released from his contract for “poor performance” after the test results were in.
