The UFC has recently added a new bout to the UFC Fight Night 17 (UFN 17) fight card. Anthony "Rumble" Johnson comes back to the octagon, but this time he’ll be taking on hard-hitting Luigi Fioravanti.
After Johnson’s disappointing loss to Kevin Burns via an illegal eye poke at UFN 14, Johnson bounced back to defeat Burns in a rematch bout at the Ultimate Fighter 8 finale event. This time, Johnson proved to be the better striker as he KO’d Burns via a vicious head kick that sent him straight to the mat in the third round. Johnson will look to add seventh career win at UFN 17.
Fioravanti has won 3 of his last 4 fights, losing only to Diego "Nightmare" Sanchez back in June of 2008 at the Ultimate Fighter 7 finale. His last fight was a unanimous decision win over Brodie Farber at UFC’s ‘Fight for the Troops’ which was held early December of 2008.
