The former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei ‘The Pitbull’ Arlovski has officially signed a multi-fight deal with Strikeforce. Arlovski makes his MMA return after a 16-month absence and is now scheduled to take on Antonio ‘Big Foot’ Silva as part of the May 15 main fight card.
Arlovski is coming off back to back losses against no.1 heavyweight fighter Fedor Emelianenko and then against Brett Rogers. As for Silva, he has won 6 of his last 7 fights with just one loss coming by way of a unanimous decision against Fabricio Werdum back in November 2009. Both fighters are hungry for a win come May 15 as they plan to climb right up the Strikeforce heavyweight division. Expect fireworks!!!
