Well this will be the big test for the UFC to see if the younger names can sell a PPV. Jackson/Carwin/Brown/Hamill are entertaining, but I’m not sure if they can push this to buy rate numbers. I imagine Jackson probably sells well, but really I can’t think of a PPV he headlined basically alone (Lets not kid ourselves and think a casual MMA fan has a clue who the Dean of Mean is. I’m stunned they are shoving Brown and Maynard down our throats and letting Vera, Grove, and Boetsch sit on the shadow card.

I can’t say that I agree with you!! Rampage Jackson, he was the champ, anyone who has reached that level becomes well known. I don’t think that they will get figures as high as they did for penn vs st. pierre 2, mostly because this event was not hyped up as much as many of the others. Although I did hear a radio commercial promoting saturdays event, and I don’t think I have ever heard one before.
