Wanderlei ‘The Axe Murderer’ Silva feel very confident coming into this co-main event fight against Michael ‘The Count’ Bisping. Silva has always wanted to please his fans with great fans whether he won or lost. This time however, he wants to bring his fans a victory to remember…the good old Wanderlei Silva-styale way.
Bisping seems to be doing a lot of trash talk, but Silva truly believes that the reason behind the whole smack talk is because he’s afraid to exchange with him in the octagon at UFC 110.
From Wanderlei Silva:
“I thought I had a great match last time, but I don’t just want to put on good performances – I want to win fights. I badly want a victory and I want a victory Wanderlei Silva-style. I have fought everybody in mixed martial arts. I am not scared to fight anybody. Michael Bisping doesn’t scare me. How can Bisping scare me? I’ve traded punches with the best fighters in the world. Nobody can make me afraid. Every day people come up to me and say ‘Bisping has been saying this and Bisping has been saying that’. I think the reason Bisping is talking a lot is because the guy is afraid. My weight has come down great, I’ve maintained my muscle and I’m going to put Bisping in real trouble.”

Wanderlei Silva’s MMA trainer Rafael Cordeiro comments on The Axe Murderer’s fight strategy for his upcoming UFC 110 war against Michael ‘The Count’ Bisping. Cordeiro believes that Silva will step into the octagon with the same focus and adrenaline he had back in the Pride days where he was recognized as one of the most scariest middleweight fighters in the world. His brutal knockouts made him stand out amongst other top MMA fighters and Cordeiro sees a comeback for the Brazilian KO artist. Sila is the former IVC light heavyweight champion, former Pride middleweight (205 lb) champion, and the Pride 2003 Middleweight Grand Prix champion.
UFC 110 is scheduled to take place on February 20th at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia. The main event will headline a heavyweight battle between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Cain Velasquez, meanwhile Silva vs. Bisping is reserved as the co-main event.

“I believe the years of war inside the ring made Wanderlei know all the pathway of the adrenaline. Today, we drive this ancient and efficient style for what he does better, that is being himself inside the ring, and more important, do what made him the icon of the martial arts. I’m very happy with this camping because we’re stressing specific workouts without forgetting his cardio. But I repeat, the priority is the technique with 100% of cardio put in the sparrings sessions, where I can active Wanderlei.”
