Gegard Mousasi vs King Mo Lawal For Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Title On CBS In April

Gegard Mousasi and King Mo Lawal have both signed an agreement to fight each other for the Strikeforce light heavyweight title. The championship bout is scheduled for Strikeforce’s April 17 event, airing live and free on national television- on CBS.
The former DREAM middleweight champion Mousasi continues to add on victories to his record, winning his last 15 bouts including the Strikeforce title when he defeated Babalu Sobral in August of 2009. The Dutch-Armenian MMA fighter is set to put his belt on the line for the very first time against undefeated King Mo Lawal. King Mo is a former three-time U.S. Senior National Wrestling Champion and a former NCAA National collegiate wrestling Champion.
The fight between Mousasi and Lawal will be part of the co-main event for the upcoming Strikeforce show in April, headlined by middleweight champion Jake Shields who will be looking to defend his title against Dan ‘Hollywood’ Henderson.
