UFC 90: Thiago ‘Pitbull’ Alves vs. Diego ‘Nightmare’ Sanchez (Co-Main Event)

UFC’s Thiago "Pitbull" Alves is coming off a huge win against former welterweight champion Matt Hughes back in June at UFC 85: Bedlam.  Dana White has given him the opportunity for a title shot if he gets passed the "Nightmare" Diego Sanchez.  It won’t be an easy task, but Alves says that he’s going to "get the belt and keep it, for a very long time…at the end of the night my hands are going to be raised, that’s what’s going to happen."

On the other hand, Sanchez believes that Alves has never been
really tested in the octagon against a powerful opponent who can take him to the ground.  Alves is very well-known for his accurate strikes and his excellent Muay Thai skills, but Sanchez says we’re going to see the "strongest Sanchez you have ever seen before…the result is going to be a dominating submission victory and that’s going to be me."

UFC 90 headlines Anderson "The Spider" Silva vs. Patrick "The Predator" Cote for the UFC middleweight championship title.  The Alves vs. Sanchez bout is already set as the co-main event.  A must-see fight card for all MMA fans around the world.

Can’t wait!
