Playboy Model Rachelle Leah Makes Octagon Girl Return For UFC 111

The UFC has announced the return of Rachelle Leah as part of the Octagon girl staff for UFC 111 in New Jersey.

The 25-year old model started out modeling for Ford Motor Company and made appearances on shows such as The View, Carson Daly, and the Nick And Jessica Variety Show.  By the age of 19, her photo was seen on a boxing website by the UFC, and she was hired as an Octagon Girl.  Leah has appeared on and hosted numerous TV shows such as Spike’s Sexiest NYC Bartenders, Spike TV’s Women of Action, Casino Cinema, Inside the UFC, and The Ultimate Fighter.

Leah is the host of Spike TV’s UFC All-access television program and has appeared on the cover of several magazine issues including Maxim, Men’s Fitness, 944, Playboy, Steppin’ Out, Muscle & Fitness, AXL, Vegas Magazine, and Stuff.

UFC 111 is already stacked with main card bouts, but let’s thank UFC President Dana White for putting the cherry on the cake with the always beautiful Rachelle Leah.

UFC 115 In Vancouver Taking Shape, Main Event Features Randy Couture vs Rich Franklin

In a recent announcement made by UFC President Dana White, he told the press that UFC 115 will indeed take place on June 12th in Vancouver, Canada.  The main event will feature a light heavyweight match-up between former heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture vs. former middleweight champion Rich ‘Ace’ Franklin.

In addition to Couture vs. Franklin, the UFC has decided to officially add on a heavyweight clash between two top heavyweight kickboxers, Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipovic vs. Pat Barry.  Also on the main card is UFC welterweights Paulo Thiago who will look to take on Danish fighter Martin Kampmann.

Frankie Edgar Working Hard For UFC 112 Title Fight, Slowly Adjusting To Abu Dhabi Weather

Frankie Edgar is excited to finally be recognized as the no. 1 lightweight title contender in the UFC.  He tells us how hard he’s worked to go to the top of the division and feels prepared to face UFC champ BJ Penn as part of the UFC 112 main event.

Although he continues to train hard everyday, his main concern is fighting in the dry climate that Abu Dhabi has to offer.  Let us remind you, the UFC 112 event will take place outdoors so weather will definitely be a factor for most fighters.

“It’s great to be recognized by the UFC as the No. 1 contender. I put a lot of work into this. It’s midnight right now and I left my house at 5:30 in the morning and I won’t be home until after midnight. I work hard and I think I deserve it… By the time nighttime rolls in Abu Dhabi (the card begins at 9 p.m.) it should be a comfortable temperature… Being in the desert, it might be a little drier than I’m used to. But I’m going to go out there 10 days beforehand to adjust… I’ve fought outdoors before, just mostly in Seaside.”
